The dimensions are quite contained within the range of G-Shock.
The functions available are the classic time and world time, stopwatch, timer, 3 alarms, automatic calendar with the addition of the signs of the moon phases, tides and if that not enough yet also features a yacht timer. The cash held underwater corrosion of 200 mt is characteristic that the use aquatic never hurts. The nickname readable in the lower part of the dial is Gulfman or man of the gulf, and its characteristics are fairly explanatory.
Water resistance classification (20 bar) – Perfect for swimming and snorkeling without gear: the watch is water resistant to 20 bar, the equivalent of 200 meters. The meter’s value does not relate to a diving depth but to the air pressure used in the course of the water resistance test. (ISO 22810)
For all those fans of precision: the countdown timers help you to remember specific or recurring events by giving off an audible signal at the date and time set. They then count back automatically from the preset time. The time can be set in minutes and up to 24 hours in advance. A particularly valuable asset to the daily medication or interval training.
The perfect prerequisite to every regatta and yacht race: starting the countdown timer can be set to a range of 1 to 10 minutes, the usually 5 minutes. An audible signal sound once after every elapsed minute. During the last 10 seconds before the start, the signal sounds every second.
Tidal ranges are calculated based on your current latitude and longitude and the time between tides and displayed graphically.
3 multifunction alarm : This model has 3 independent multifunctional alarms. Whatever appointments scheduled, this shows you remember. Four versions are available: 1 Daily alarm sounds each day at the same hour, 2 alarms by date to remember birthdays, for example, 3 Monthly alarm goes off every month on the same day and at the same time, a 4 alarm for each day of a particular month.
This watch, in my opinion, is great for use at sea. It has everything you need for any activity, including count the shore fishing and diving, surfing, boating and for the more fortunate races. The battery life of 7 years as in the original project allows us to take advantage of the functions in peace.
