CASIO PROTREK PRW-3000-2ER
The technological background and functions are the usual supplied to other top models of Casio watches, what changes is the way in which it presents this product, totally new appearance and more importantly, a new family of sensors, smaller, more accurate and less consuming.
First things first, the characteristics of this product are :
- Altimeter from -700 to 10,000 meters with a step of updating 1mt. and 40 memories.
- Barometer from 260 to 1100 mbar.
- Thermometer -10 to 60 degrees Celsius.
- Digital compass with an interval of continuous reading of 60 sec .
- Sunrise and sunset indication.
- 10ATM waterproof.
- Tough Solar module with an indication of the level of battery charge.
- Radio control.
And then of course the most classic functions :
- Stopwatch.
- Timer countdown.
- World timer.
- Programmable alarms.
- Backlight.
It available in different variations and colors, I personally prefer the model with resin case and bracelet.
The new design of this Casio Protrek, which I assume will be the new benchmark for subsequent models, I am not convinced until the end, because it is true that with a crate from the smaller, it makes it usable even by those who have the clock a smaller wrist, but it is also true that a lower surface of the display can limit visibility in adverse conditions.
These are of course only personal considerations, and in any case they refer to aspects that do not affect in any way the operation of the clock, that level of technology and precision is a square at the top of Casio products.
Compared with my trusty Casio Pro Trek PRW-2500 has proven to be truly the new benchmark in its class.
I still prefer the more massive than 2500, which gives me feeling of greater strength, but undoubtedly the Casio ProTrek PRW-3000-2ER is a great product.
